'Lucky Life Slots' Logo Design

I was tasked with creating a logo for the app 'Lucky Life Slots by myVEGAS'. The goal was to identify a shape design, font, and overall aesthetic that branded the app in a way that was consistent with the creative content within. 
After numerous iterations, we resolved on a direction that featured the letterforms with a thick, chunky treatment affixed to a plaque that represents the key symbol-shape of the game: the 'clover heart' (representing a lucky four-leaf clover that's comprised of hearts from the classic card suit).
